Anne received her bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy at the Academy for Occupational Therapy, Cologne (Germany) as well as a Sensory Integration Certification from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles (USA).
A lifelong learner, Anne has completed numerous additional training programs, including: Psychomotor Certification; Marburger Training for Attention; Training for Understanding Children with Auditory Processing Disorder; Training in Evaluation, Treatment and Counselling for Children with ADHD; and Yoga for Kids and Families. Prior to joining ELG in 2006, Anne also completed internships in children’s hospitals all over the world, using her skills in a variety of cultures.
As an Occupational Therapist with ELG, Anne provides a wide range of therapy services, including handedness and handwriting, visual-motor skills, visual-perception training to improve attention, sensory integration treatment, and fine/gross motor skills development. She has particular expertise working with children with visual problems and strabismus (a visual disorder in which the eyes point in different directions).
Anne is passionate about letting children show what they are able to do during therapy sessions, and supporting them in what they are not yet able to do. She enjoys giving children opportunities for self-expression and discovering more about their surroundings.
