Anne holds a master’s degree in Educational Psychology from The Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands and is a member of the NVO, the Association of Educationalists in the Netherlands. Anne has dedicated her career to the field of child development and behavior, both in the Netherlands and in Shanghai. Prior to joining ELG in 2014, Anne worked as an Educational Psychologist and Learning Support Specialist in the international school setting.
Anne specializes in the assessment and intervention of children who have a variety of social-emotional and behavioral challenges. She often utilizes aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in her work. In addition, Anne has a particular area of interest and expertise in relation to helping students improve the basic skills required for learning such as increasing attention span, organizational skills, and self-control.
Anne is passionate about supporting and enhancing child development, believing that a holistic approach is essential to helping children reach their full potential.
