Program Leader, Registered Behavioral Technician
M.Ed., University of San Diego, United States
B.A., Fisk University, United States
After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Fisk University, Tameah worked as a behavioral aide for children with autism. She loved her job and it inspired her to become a Registered Behavioral Technician and earn a Master’s Degree in Special Education from the University of San Diego.
Over the past eight years, Tameah has had a range of experience, working for individual children who have special needs as well as being a resource for classroom teachers. She has helped children with autism to learn to socialize in peer groups and in the community. She has also provided classroom support for clients with ADHD and behavioral problems. She loves to watch children develop and to help them on their individual journeys.
Tameah moved to Shanghai in 2016 for her position at ELG as a Program Leader in our daily Innovative Learning Center (ILC) and a Behavior Consultant in our clinic. She is passionate about having a mutual exchange between herself, her colleagues, and the children she works with; everyone supports one another to grow and learn.
