Evelyn holds a Medical Science bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy, which she obtained at the Vives University Bruges in Belgium in 2010. She then completed her clinical practice in a school for children with special needs, where she gained extensive experience of working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome and other special needs. Prior to moving to Shanghai, Evelyn worked for over five years as an educational consultant for adults with special needs, helping them to improve their social skills and main competences.
At ELG, Evelyn specializes in multilingualism and works with children with dyslexia, dyscalculia, language delay, and other speech and language related disorders, taking into account their multicultural and multilingual background. Evelyn utilizes her broad experience to contribute to the services of The Essential Learning Group and meet the specific needs of each child.
She enjoys delivering individualized goals, and focuses on maximizing communication skills and guiding children throughout their development.
