Dr. Brad J. Jurica holds a Psy.D. in applied sport psychology and an M.A. in psychology from San Diego State University. Dr. Brad joined ELG as a leading performance psychologist with extensive experience helping adolescents, professional athletes, corporate executives, and Fortune 500 companies increase their self-awareness, build self-reliance and improve self-discipline.

Prior to joining ELG, Dr. Brad worked as a university professor, the leader of an international team of performance enhancement specialists, and as a sport consultant helping clients perform their best when it matters most. His extensive experience providing performance-related and clinical psychological services to individuals, teams, athletes, and coaches led to him achieving a stellar reputation and high demand across many US states. In working with clients, he creates individualized programs that target goal setting, visualization, positive self-talk, arousal regulation, and mental toughness ‘grit’ training. Through this positive psychology approach, Dr. Brad enables his clients to unlock their full achievement potential.

In his position as psychologist at ELG, Dr. Brad provides services to students, athletes, and professionals who are looking to remove barriers to success. In his role as team leader at ELG, he utilizes his field experience and professional skillset to support a large team of ELG specialists, and shares his expertise with the community through public speaking engagements. Dr. Brad loves working with clients to help them “get comfortable being uncomfortable”, showing them how to turn perceived obstacles into opportunities for self-improvement. Alongside his professional work, he is committed to supporting environmental causes involved in keeping oceans and coastal wetlands pollution-free.
