Dr. Guo provides individual, group, and embedded school counseling services to international communities. As Regional Director (Hangzhou), he focuses on expanding ELG’s services and builds ongoing partnerships within Hangzhou and surrounding cities. He is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), as well as being a chartered member of the British Psychological Society. Spending his teen years in Canada after growing up in China, he understands the struggles that international students and local children in international environments are facing. Dr. Guo provides a helpful perspective to families, educators, and children about handling transition and culture shock.
