Elis offers support to students with reading and writing difficulties, including students with dyslexia in English and/or Mandarin. She uses a wide range of tools to assess and enhance her clients’ learning and comprehension capabilities. She works with families and schools, advising them on the best approaches to support each child. She has more than 10 years of experience in international education, was a senior educational therapist at the Dyslexia Association of Singapore and is trained in the world-renowned Orton-Gillingham reading program (a teaching approach designed to help struggling readers). A highly compassionate educator, Elis enjoys fostering a supportive learning environment to ensure that each child feels safe, capable, and appropriately challenged.
