Jojo earned a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from Chung Shan Medical University, China Taiwan and a master’s degree in early intervention from Chang Gung University, China Taiwan.

Prior to joining ELG, Jojo worked as a research assistant in an early intervention center in Taiwan. As part of her work and research, she provided Routine-Based Intervention (services that are assimilated into daily routines) and occupational therapy to children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and global developmental delay. Since then, Jojo has evaluated the strengths and needs of children aged seven months to 18 years.

As an occupational therapist at ELG, Jojo helps children develop skills so they may succeed in day-to-day activities and gain a new sense of accomplishment. Jojo provides sensory diets to children in a one-on-one capacity, as well as consulting with families so that parents can implement these effective measures across different settings. She uses techniques such as sensory massage and brushing, to help children become regulated, improve attention, and focus on academics. She provides informal and formal assessments, develops individualized education plans (IEP) to meet children’s needs, and provides therapeutic programs. She also regularly communicates with parents and caregivers to provide ongoing support.

Jojo loves collaborating with staff and families so they may provide appropriate therapy services to children. She is dedicated to helping children make the most of their living environments – at home, in the classroom, and in the community.
