Mooney holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and neuroscience from the University of Toronto and a master’s degree in mental health counseling from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. At ELG, Mooney conducts intake assessments and provides individual and group psychotherapy for clients with depression, anxiety, PTSD, suicidal ideation, history of violence, and paranoia. As the Director of Client Services, Mooney continues to support, develop, and grow ELG’s interdisciplinary specialist team, consisting of developmental therapists, psychological, behavioral, and educational professionals. She seeks to optimize client experiences and provide professional consultation for the community, such as local and international schools and other agencies, on how ELG can support and meet their needs. She is also passionate about providing resources for both local and international communities, and strives to serve as a bridge between different cultures.
